Nordic Bootcamp Húsavík 2026

The year started with a bang, during the week of January 5-9, a retraining course and workshops for Fab Lab employees in the Nordic countries were held in Húsavík. There were almost 30 participants from Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Denmark, Finland and Sweden, or a total of 19 Labs.

The week was a great success and we can commend Stefán Pétri and Flexa for their excellent program.

On offer were workshops related to AI 3D design, tufting, digitalembroidery, silk printing, metal laser and making a small milling machine, along with a variety of talks and visits.

This is an important part of strengthening the network between workshops and sharing knowledge of equipment, ingenuity and ideas. But all this makes the workshops stronger and better equipped to share with their community.

For those who want to learn more about the collaboration, you can do so here https://nordicfablabs.org/next-bootcamp-2026-fab-lab-husavik-iceland/

Thanks for the great time and see you soon :)
