How can I get started?

The first and most important step is to come and inspect the facility.
Everyone is welcome to come during normal opening hours and there is always an employee on hand to receive you and assist you.

We also have an open house on Tuesdays, where you will always find an employee who is willing to assist you with whatever ideas that you have in mind.

We love new ideas, and we are always excited to see new people.

How?

You are always welcome to drop in but during open house hours on Tuesdays we have open workshop which works from 14:00 -19:00.

If you want to start tinkering immediately at home then we have free guides on the software we use for our equipment

Nordic Bootcamp Húsavík 2026

The year started with a bang, during the week of January 5-9, a retraining course and workshops for Fab Lab employees in the Nordic countries were held in Húsavík. There were almost 30 participants from Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Denmark, Finland and Sweden, or a total of 19 Labs.
